RIP Fontella Bass
Although "Rescue Me" was a much bigger hit, I prefer her singing with the Art Ensemble of Chicago on the soundtrack Les Stances a Sophie.

Damn Right Mike. I was working in a framers on Greene Street in the 70s listening to the radio when I first heard this. It wasn't until later that I realized she was the same singer on Rescue Me. Its so damn nasty.
